I think the reason that Texas launched an attack on Mexican soil instead of their own because they wanted to prove to Mexico they were strong enough to beat them and possibly make them surrender. This is because they want to for themselves to get to the United States. To get to freedom the first step is getting away from the mexicans and going to the United States of America. Getting freedom is important to lots of people. It is for them too.

I am inferring this is a very important event. I think this because this is the first event when the Texans will start to do something more than winning the battles. They can start one too. Mexico has always been the army to launch the attacks. This is also important because they run onto a overruling position’s land and show lots of courage and bravery. They attacked Mexico and proved they might be able to beat them.

Some future consequences of stripping the Alamo’s men could have been that the Mexicans attack, lots of men ,or one, gets sick and they don’t have enough supplies or medicine to help them.Another problem could be if there were not many people at the Alamo and they did not have enough guns or rifles for all of them ,and they could not fight off the Mexicans. This explains what could happen when Frank and James stripped the Alamo.

I do not think that stripping the Alamo of most of it’s men was not at all smart. Some reasons why could be everything in my last paragraph and having too many men could mean that they don’t have enough weapons. It is very strange but possible, also, the problems could be something like social issues between the men in the two groups. One in the Alamo and one with Frank Johnson and James Grant.
